If you don’t already know, the kind folks at UNC Resnet installed a sweet webcam in Student Stores focused on the pit, a student gathering place nestled among Student Stores, Lenoir Dining Hall, the two libraries, and the Union. The Pitcam serves up a nice diversion and helps subdue the swells of nostalgia that sometimes threaten to overtake even the most apathetic alum. But wouldn’t it be great if we could arrange some hilarious hijinks and save the picture with the new “capture” feature? A few ideas spring to mind immediately:

• LOS signal
• flashing of some kind
• staged nose-picking

Of course these are all rather obvious pranks so I’ll open the floor to suggestions.
