Ever since “Crazy” put Gnarls Barkley on the map I’ve become more interested in Cee-lo Green’s body of work. Before his collaboration with DJ Danger Mouse he rapped with Goodie Mob whose song, Soul Food, is one of my favorites. While not as pleasantly plump in this video as in later years, he’s got the same classic soul/gospel/Southern Cee-lo croon…I could listen to it all day long.
In other news, I leave for China in two days. More on that shortly.
